sorry i haven't been blogging for so long! heh.. had been really busy with work these days. had a section dinner last friday.. and we went to rendezvous hotel to have international buffet! yum yum. all the heavenly delicacies. unfortunately although i was hungry i didn't eat much coz i get full rather easily :( the bill was a crazy amount of near 400 for 10 of us, so i felt i wasted my officer's money. whahaha. to make the money worth, the 3 guys in the section had a fresh oyster contest. each of them had to finish 7 or 8 fresh oysters (not including those that they ate previously before the contest) and the person who threw up or surrendered first would lose.
such expensive seafood, yet the smell alone made me feel like puking already.

in the end nobody won coz all of them finished the oysters. omg.
back to korea trip blogging! i stopped at the 3rd day right? haha.. sorry the photos aren't fully uploaded yet. i'm taking so long coz there are hundreds and hundreds of them! :x
third day - daegu to jeju island
went to visit the donghwa temple in the morning.. we were given 2 choices before we went there.
1) have the bus send us to the peak of the hill where the temple is, and we make our way down the hill after visiting the temple ourselves. the bus will be waiting for us at the foot.
2) we make our way up the hill ourselves, and the bus will be waiting for us at the peak after we visited the temple.
anyone in the correct mind will choose option one. gladfully we did.

after visiting the temple we went to the spa valley. it was a place somehow like the public bathroom in japan. inside the spa place were many pools, some with hot water and some with cold water. we were supposed to jump into the hot pool, then cold pool, then hot pool again so our pores could have some exercise opening and closing. haha.. it is supposed to help make our skin firmer. the korean women go there once a week at least.
the fun part was that we all had to enter the place naked. omg.. it was so weird seeing everyone naked hahaha. we couldn't bring ourselves to strip at first but the tour guide came to us naked to encourage us. HAHA! it was quite paiseh at first.. but once i saw everyone like this also the embarrassment diminished. want to see some photos of the place? :D
sorry lah. no cameras allowed in there. hehehehe. don't be hum sup.
we paid 20 000 won each to have our bodies scrubbed! we had to lie there while the aunties scrubbed us, just like pork lying on the metal bench with the butcher washing it in the market. the last time somebody bathed and scrubbed me was 68367195 years ago. it was kind of awkward, you get what i mean. but the scrub was damn useful! i saw all my dead skin cells coming out and i was celebrating. who knows how long those dead cells had been sticking on me for! i want to buy the scrub they used.. although painful but so efficient! hehe.
after the spa we flew to jeju island.. stay tuned for the jeju adventure! whahaha. i shall go upload photos again!
